I am a social scientist (PhD from Central European University, 2021), mostly working on environmental sociology, right-wing politics and the public justifications of social exclusion. Currently a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the Johns Hopkins University – University Pompeu Fabra Public Policy Center in Barcelona, I explore “exclusionary environmentalisms”, the ways environmental actors draw boundaries around belonging. I am the author of Far-Right Ecologism: Environmental Politics and the Far Right in Hungary and Poland (Routledge, 2023) and of the volume Global Far-Right Ecologisms: Trends, Issues and Challenges (Routledge, 2026). Being predominantly a qualitative researcher and ethnographer, I also have applied knowledge in quantitative and computational methods.
In spite of being an early career researcher, my experience in research management, leadership and funding acquisition as a principal investigator spans half a decade, most notably as the Head of Research at Damar Institute (2023-), the first private research institute in Montenegro and the Head of Ideology Research Unit at the Centre For Analysis of the Radical Right (now Far-Right Analysis Network). I also served as a consultant for several international organizations, including the United Nations and the European Commission.
In addition to these positions, I was a recipient of the Fulbright Fellowship at University of California, Berkeley (2022), Chevening Scholarhip at Aberystwyth University (2016/17), Best Montenegrin Young Scientist Award (2023), Award of the Montenegrin Academy of Arts and Sciences (2021) and CEU Advanced Doctoral Student Award (2021).
